The combination of an Intel SR2612(UR/URR) server with OpenE storage software is very popular among our customers. This system provides room for twelve SAS or SATA drives and is designed to be populated with up to two Intel Xeon 5500 or 5600 series processors and 192 GB of main memory.

Increasing demand for Storage Area Network (SAN) environments leads to rising expectations on the part of IT managers with regard to optimum performance and capacity in terms of available capex budgets. Promise VTrak storage systems deploy the latest processor generations to offer the storage system performance demanded by users. SMB Solutions from Promise – VessRAID Series
The VessRAID series are low-cost storage systems with a high degree of flexibility in terms of connection options and application areas. Along with Fibre Channel and iSCSI interfaces, some modules are also equipped with Ethernet ports to allow all options to be exploited. VessRAID systems combine the option of block-oriented storage over the iSCSI protocol, which makes it possible to implement a Storage Area Network (SAN) over an existing network, with the option of file-oriented storage in the form of a Network Attached Storage (NAS) system that gives a large number of users access to files held in a file system. Support for iSCSI and NAS functionality allows users to create extremely flexible systems. All VessRAID storage systems are equipped with One Plug Auto Service (OPAS) functionality. Based on a simple plug-in USB stick, OPAS supports troubleshooting, diagnostics and saving log files, as well as an Autoscript function for automatic system configuration.
Along with extensive integrated functions, high data availability and operational security, VessRAID systems offer the advantage of expandability with VessJBOD expansion modules. This provides a simple, professional solution to the rising demand for additional low-cost storage.
Home and Office Solutions from Promise – SmartStor Products
SmartStor Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Direct Attached Storage (DAS) solutions are a good choice for the Small Office / Home Office (SOHO) and household environments. SmartStor NAS systems are certified compliant with the DLNA standard, ensuring reliable connection to corresponding multimedia devices. This allows direct access from HDTV television sets, game consoles and audio systems to film and music files stored on a SmartStor NAS system.
All files in the system can also be made available to friends and family members via remote access. In the business world, data from mobile devices (such as smartphones) can be transferred reliably to SmartStor NAS systems to protect it against loss.
